A simple step-by-step guide to the Umrah procedure, followed by the duas of the Hajj rites (Tamattu).
Intention (Niyyah) at Miqat
Dua 1
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ عُمْرَةً / لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ حَجًّا
Labbayk Allahumma 'umrah / Labbayk Allahumma hajja.
Here I am, O Allah, for Umrah / for Hajj. — Make the intention in your heart and say this once when crossing the Miqat in Ihram.

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharika laka labbayk, innal-hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Truly all praise, favour and sovereignty belong to You — You have no partner. — Recited abundantly and loudly from the Miqat until touching the Black Stone at the start of Tawaf.

Upon Entering Makkah / Seeing the Ka'bah
Dua 3
اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَمَهَابَةً، وَزِدْ مَنْ شَرَّفَهُ وَكَرَّمَهُ مِمَّنْ حَجَّهُ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَهُ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَبِرًّا
Allahumma zid hadhal-bayta tashrifan wa ta'ziman wa takriman wa mahaba, wa zid man sharrafahu wa karramahu mimman hajjahu awi-'tamarahu tashrifan wa takriman wa ta'ziman wa birra.
O Allah, increase this House in honour, greatness, dignity and awe. And increase those who honour and revere it — of those who perform Hajj or Umrah to it — in honour, dignity, greatness and righteousness.
At the Black Stone (Start of each Tawaf circuit)
Dua 4
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Bismillah, Allahu Akbar.
In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. — Say this facing the Black Stone at the start of each of the seven circuits. Kiss it, touch it, or point to it if crowded.

Dua 5
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Two Raka'at Behind Maqam Ibrahim
Dua 6
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
And take, from the standing place of Ibrahim, a place of prayer. — After completing seven circuits, pray two raka'at behind Maqam Ibrahim: recite Al-Kafirun in the first and Al-Ikhlas in the second.

Beginning of Sa'i (at Safa)
Dua 7
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللَّهُ بِهِ
Innas-safa wal-marwata min sha'a'irillah, abda'u bima bada'allahu bih.
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. I begin with what Allah began with. — Said when climbing Safa for the first time.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
Allahu Akbar (x3), la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. La ilaha illallahu wahdahu, anjaza wa'dah, wa nasara 'abdah, wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah.
Allah is the Greatest (three times). None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things capable. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone — He fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. — Say three times on each hill; make personal du'a in between.

On the Day of Arafah (9th Dhul-Hijjah)
Dua 9
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.
The best du'a is the du'a of the Day of Arafah, and the best that I and the Prophets before me have said is: 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things capable.'

At Muzdalifah (Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram)
Dua 10
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illallah.
Face the Qiblah, raise your hands, praise Allah, magnify Him, proclaim His oneness and supplicate until it becomes very bright, before sunrise.

Throwing the Jamarat

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Bismillah, Allahu Akbar.
In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest — said with each of the seven pebbles thrown at each Jamarah.

Farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wada')
Dua 12
لَا يَنْفِرَنَّ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ
La yanfiranna ahadun hatta yakuna akhiru 'ahdihi bil-bayt.
No one should leave until his last act is with the House (Ka'bah). — Perform seven circuits of Tawaf as your last act before leaving Makkah.

Dua 13
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللَّهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ
As-salamu 'alayka ya Rasulallah, as-salamu 'alayka ya Nabiyyallah, as-salamu 'alayka ya khiyarata-llahi min khalqih.
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you, O the chosen of Allah from His creation. Then send salam upon Abu Bakr and 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them).
