Our responsibility as voters with disabilities is to educate ourselves about these candidates and ask questions if we are uncertain about their views and opinions regarding people with disabilities.

From the "basic categories" list (on the left of the webpage) choose "Voting Records"
Select a state "Alabama" then click on the "go" button
For legislature select "State Offices"
The top right corner under State Legislature select either "Senate" or "House of Representatives"
All members from each district are listed
Select the legislator you are interested in
The page will show Recent Key Votes (below recent key votes) "More Votes"
More votes will show a history of votes for that legislator

"PLEASE INSERT YOUR BALLOT."
(remember at any time you need assistance-ask a poll worker)
"INSERT YOUR BALLOT SLOWLY IN THE FEED TRAY"
"READ OR LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOTING"
"PRESS NEXT"
"TO CHOOSE THE CANDIDATE-SELECT THE NAME OR THE OVAL NEXT TO THE NAME"
"ONCE THE NAME HAS BEEN CHOSEN IT WILL COLOR OR FILL THE OVAL"
"IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND OR HAVE CHOSEN THE WRONG NAME, SELECT THE NAME AGAIN AND IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO PICK ANOTHER CANDIDATE"
"PRESS NEXT-TO MOVE TO THE NEXT BALLOT PAGE"

When you have gone through the whole ballot.
"REVIEW THE SUMMARY SCREEN TO CONFIRM YOUR SELECTIONS"
"AT THIS TIME IF YOU WANT TO MAKE CHANGES, PRESS THE CONTEST ON THE SUMMARY SCREEN, TOUCH YOUR ORIGINAL CHOICE AND IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO MAKE A NEW CHOICE"
"PRESS NEXT-YOU WILL RETURN TO THE SUMMARY SCREEN"

Once you have the choices you want. "PRESS NEXT"
"THEN PRESS MARK BALLOT"
Screen or voice prompts will display "REMOVE BALLOT"

To verify your marked ballot, "INSERT IT IN THE BALLOT FEED TRAY"
